Business and Brand Strategy for Established Coaches

An Experienced Coach.
But What Makes You Different?

Stand out as a coach in six weeks, so ideal clients understand why to choose you.

You've built your coaching business on years of professional experience. You've developed your expertise, worked with clients and know the value you bring.

But when someone asks what makes your coaching different, is your answer as clear and confident as you'd like it to be?

I help established independent coaches create a distinctive position in the coaching market, so they can confidently explain who they help, what makes them different and why ideal clients should choose them.

You've Got the Experience. But Are You Standing Out?

You spent years building a successful corporate career.

Now you've brought that experience into your own coaching business.

You're good at what you do. You've worked with clients. You know you can make a difference.

But sometimes it's difficult to put into words what makes your approach different from everyone else's.

Perhaps you recognise some of these frustrations:

  • You find yourself explaining what you do, rather than why someone should choose you.

  • Your experience and expertise aren't coming across clearly in your marketing.

  • You're attracting interest, but not always from the clients you'd really like to work with.

  • You feel like just another coach in an increasingly crowded market.

And you're wondering how to build the respected, successful coaching business you originally set out to create.

You don't need to keep struggling to explain your value.

You need a clearer way to communicate it.

Get Clear on What Makes Your Coaching Business Different

Imagine being able to confidently explain your coaching business in a way that immediately makes sense to the right people.

To know exactly who you want to work with, what makes your approach distinctive and why your experience matters.

That's what we'll work towards together.

Over six weeks, we'll develop a clear, credible coaching business position that reflects your experience and the value you bring to your clients.

What you'll get clear on

  • Who you really want to work with

A clearer understanding of the clients you're best placed to help.

  • What makes you different

A distinctive position that reflects your experience, expertise and approach.

  • Why clients should choose you

A compelling way to communicate the value of your coaching business.

  • How to talk about your business confidently

Clearer language that makes it easier for ideal clients to understand what you offer and why it matters.

A Focused Six-Week Positioning Engagement

This is a personalised engagement for experienced professionals who have already established independent coaching businesses.

It's designed for former senior corporate executives who have been running a life, executive or leadership coaching business for approximately two to five years.

You've already developed coaching expertise and established clients.

Now you want your business position to properly reflect the experience and value you bring.

Rather than focusing on generic branding or business coaching, we'll concentrate on one outcome:

Creating a distinctive coaching business position that you feel confident communicating.

The goal is to leave you with greater clarity, confidence and professional credibility in how you present your business.

What You'll Walk Away With

By the end of our six weeks together, the aim is for you to have:

  • A clearly defined coaching business position that reflects your expertise and the clients you want to attract.

  • A clear explanation of who you help and the value you bring to those clients.

  • A distinctive market position that helps prospective clients understand why to choose you.

  • Greater confidence in communicating your coaching business and its value.

  • A complimentary LinkedIn profile refresh, so your profile consistently reflects your new positioning.

The result is a coaching business position you can explain clearly, confidently and with pride.

The 6-Week Positioning Confidence Guarantee

I want you to feel confident about the position we've created for your coaching business.

That's why your engagement includes my 6-Week Positioning Confidence Guarantee.

If you actively participate, complete your agreed responsibilities and still don't have a clearly defined coaching business position you feel confident in after six weeks, I'll provide up to two additional weeks of positioning refinement at no extra cost.

That gives us additional time to refine the work together, if needed.

Who This Is For?

This engagement is particularly suited to you if:

  • You're an established independent life, executive or leadership coach in Ireland.

  • You've previously held a senior corporate leadership or executive role.

  • You've been running your coaching business for approximately two to five years.

  • You've built up coaching experience and an existing client base.

  • You're finding it difficult to clearly communicate what makes your business different.

  • You want to build a respected coaching business with a distinctive position in the market.

If that sounds like you, it may be worth having a conversation.

Your investment

The investment for the six-week positioning engagement is €5,000.

This can be paid in two instalments of €2,500:

  • The first payment to begin the engagement.

  • The second payment during our work together.

The engagement includes the six-week positioning work, your conditional confidence guarantee and a complimentary LinkedIn profile refresh.

To ensure each client receives focused attention, I work with a maximum of four active clients at any one time.

New clients can begin when a place becomes available.

A Little About Me

I don't start by asking how we should market your coaching business. I start by getting clear on what makes it worth choosing.

I'm Lucy O'Reilly, founder of Designs for Growth.

I bring together business thinking, positioning and brand strategy to help experienced coaches get clear on who they help, what makes them different and why the right clients should choose them.

And if that clarity reveals opportunities to strengthen your messaging, identity or website, I can help you carry that thinking through into your brand.

Business first. Brand second. Design when we know what it needs to say.

“Lucy really helped me gain clarity and focus. She is very attentive, listens for your particular talents and anchors that into reality.”
