Does this sound like you?

🙈 “I am a bit embarrassed by my site. It’s so obvious I did it myself and it really doesn’t represent who I am or what I do.”

🙋‍♀️ “My site doesn’t really do anything! I’d love for my clients to be able to set up calls with me, download freebies, sign up for my newsletter and so on, but I just don’t have the time to learn how to do this.”

😢 “I need to reorganise my online shop so customers can search by product type, see related products etc. I would also like to set up the abandoned cart emails, the Facebook Pixel, sell my products on Instagram and all that good online marketing stuff, but I don’t know how to do it in Squarespace.”

🙋‍♀️"My site looks just like the template. I would love to incorporate some custom designs like a mega-menu or pop-out menu, but I don’t have the coding skills”

Work with us to turn your Squarespace website into a powerful marketing machine. Whether it’s branding, design, site architecture or lead generation and SEO, we would love to help.

I tried and failed badly at building my own website... so I do appreciate all the work and dedication Lucy put into my new website! Since the launch, my business has been way busier, especially as my clients can now book online.

FAQ

(We always recommend an FAQ to my clients - Google loves and and your clients will too!

If you upgrade my Squarespace website, does that mean you will start all over again?

Usually, no but it depends on what you want to achieve with your new site. If your site was built on Squarespace 7.0 sites (i.e if your site has a template name such as Brine, Bedford, Five etc or was built pre-September or October 2020), there may be certain functionalities that you wish to incorporate into your new site that are not possible within the confines of your template. For example, I recently revamped an online shop for a client whose site was originally built on a 7.0 template that was really intended for blogging and which presented all sorts of limitations in terms of layout. So we switched template to allow for scrolling pages, full-width banners and so on.

Or maybe you want to switch to Squarespace 7.1 which is the latest version of the platform. This does essentially mean starting all over again as you cannot simply switch to 7.1 the way you could switch templates in 7.0. Squarespace 7.1 is considerably different and indeed you would need to move your entire subscription to a new site.

If you work on my site, will I have to share my login with you?

No, you can just go to Settings/Permissions and add us as an Admin to your site.

I’m happy enough with the design of my site, but I would like to create a sales page for a new service, can you just help me with that? And can you help me figure out what should be on a sales page?

Yes, of course. A sales page does indeed follow a certain recipe for success and I can go through that with you. I am not a copywriter, however, but can put you in touch with copywriters who can help you with words that sell!

Could you simply train me on how to manage my site better?

Yes, we can do some Squarespace training, if that’s all you need. I have an Ask Me Anything service which you might be interested in, where we hop onto Zoom for an hour and I answer any Squarespace or digital marketing questions you may have.

Can you help me set up an online scheduler on my Squarespace website, even if I am using Acuity or Calendly or another scheduling tool?

Yes. You do need to be on the Squarespace Business package in order for me to integrate a third-party app such as Calendly. Acuity is owned by Squarespace, so that’s easy to do.

I have heard that Squarespace does emails. Can you help me set that up? I am sick of MailChimp and want something easier to use.

Yes, I can help you set up Squarespace Email Campaigns for newsletters and email automations when someone buys something or completes a form on your site.
