How the Designer for a Day works

Get in touch so we can talk about what you need. We’ll agree on the deliverables required and get you booked into our design diary.

We’ll start with an early Zoom call, followed by a morning of design. By lunchtime, you’ll have the opportunity to review and give any feedback. We’ll spend the afternoon continuing our design work and edits and the day ends with a final review opportunity and sign off.

If there is anything on your list that we didn’t get to on your Design Day, you can book in extra time in our diary. If you need a how-to video for a particular change we’ve made to your Squarespace or Kajabi website, we will provide that the following day.

Before your scheduled design day, we will have spoken and agreed on the priorities for the day. Anything required by me from you will have been sent over, and if necessary we will have a call to go through it.
The day will run from 9am-5.30pm. We start with a quick Zoom, followed by two hours of design work. At lunchtime you get a preview of what we’ve been working on and this is your opportunity to provide quick feedback. The afternoon is spent in the final design stage with then another client review and sign off. All the final files will be sent to you by 5.30pm.

We’ll do our best! We may need to prioritise the items on your list, but we will be realistic with you and if we think we’ll need more time we can discuss that.

Yes, it’s very important that we have agreed on the deliverables and priority list for the Design Day. Depending on your requirements you will need to provide certain assets, e.g for a new website page, I would need images and copy in advance. You can share these with me via Google Drive. If I am designing assets such as social media posts, I will need access to your logo, colour palette and typography, for example, or be invited to your Canva team. Having all of this in place means we waste no time on your Design Day.

No refunds are available with this service. The fee is based on my time and experience. We will speak before the day and you will have up to three times on the day to raise any concerns.
