Your brand should be working as hard as the business you've already built

Because the business you're building now requires a strategy for where you’re going.

You didn’t get here by accident

You've built something real: a team, a methodology, a client base that proves the model works. The expertise is deep. The results are consistent. The ambition is bigger than what you're currently known for.

But the brand is still telling an earlier story.

It was built at the beginning, when the priority was to look credible enough to get started. Since then, the business has moved, into new markets, higher fees, bigger clients, a offer that's genuinely different from what everyone else is doing.

The brand hasn't kept up.

Which means you're walking into rooms where you should be the obvious choice β€” and having to explain yourself instead. You're attracting clients who are a version behind where you're operating. You're leaving revenue on the table not because the work isn't there, but because the brand isn't carrying it.

That's not a design problem. It's a brand authority problem.

Right now…

  • The brand you have was built for the business you were, not the business you're scaling

  • You're winning work despite your brand, not because of it

  • The clients who can afford what you're worth aren't finding you - or aren't recognising you when they do

  • You're ready to charge more, expand the offer, build the team, but the brand doesn't support any of it yet

β€œLucy didn't just get into the trenches with me, she dug them. She listened to my vision and developed a brand that was entirely me, visually and emotionally. She helped me navigate through all the choppy waters during the process. On top of all that, her team is approachable, brilliant, kind, excellent at what they do.”

The Brand Authority Method

A complete end-to-end engagement: brand strategy, visual identity and website, built as one coherent system. For founders who are done explaining themselves to clients who should already be saying yes.

How I Work

I developed the Brand Authority Methodβ„’ because most brand projects start in the wrong place.

A logo. A colour palette. A website. All of it designed before anyone has asked the harder questions:

  • What are you actually building and where are you going?

  • Does your brand do justice to your business?

  • How do you need to be positioned to be the obvious choice for your customers?

Without those answers, design has nothing solid to express. Which is why so many founders arrive having already invested in a brand that looks fine but doesn't convert, attract, or reflect where they are going.

Every engagement starts with strategy. Not as a box to tick before the interesting work begins, but as the foundation everything else is built on. Visual identity and website follow. Design is the expression of the thinking. Never the starting point.

Is your brand keeping pace with your business growth?

The Brand Authority Scoreβ„’ is a free 3-minute clarity audit that pinpoints the gaps between what you do, how it’s communicated, and how it’s converting.

What brand strategy means here

Before anything is designed, you'll have clarity. Not a mood board. Not a direction agreed after one session.

A clear, documented foundation: your business goals, your ideal client, your tone of voice, your brand personality, your unique positioning in the market.

This is deep, reflective work. It asks hard questions and it takes the time those questions deserve. It doesn't start with how things should look. It starts with what the business needs to become.

Sometimes that leads to a full brand and website build. Sometimes it leads somewhere else entirely. What it always produces is the strategic clarity to make the right decisions, and a visual identity, if we build one, that's built on something solid.

Why this works when other brand projects don't

Most brand projects start with how things look.

I start with what the brand needs to do, for your business, at your specific stage, for the clients you're trying to reach.

The visual identity and website that usually come out of that process aren't decoration. They're a commercial argument, made visible.

Nearly a decade of brand work. Strategy-first from the beginning. And a method that's been tested on businesses at exactly the inflection point you're at now.
