What Pages Does a Kajabi Coaching Website Actually Need?

You’ve signed up for Kajabi, or you’re thinking about it - and now you’re wondering:

"What pages do I actually need for my Kajabi website?"

If you're a coach offering services, courses, or programmes, this is a smart question. Too many Kajabi websites are built around templates with random pages, rather than a clear, client-converting structure.

In this post, I’ll walk you through:

  • The essential pages every Kajabi coaching site needs

  • The optional but powerful extras

  • What makes each page work (aka convert visitors into clients)

  • The biggest mistakes coaches make with Kajabi pages

Start With the Essentials: 5 Must-Have Kajabi Pages for Coaches

These are the foundation of a strategic coaching website, and what I include in nearly every custom Kajabi site I design for clients.

1. Home Page

Your first impression. It should answer:

  • What do you do?

  • Who do you help?

  • Why should someone stay and explore?

Pro Tip: This isn’t a dumping ground of everything you offer. It should guide your visitor to take the next right step.

2. About Page

One of the most visited pages — and often the weakest.
This isn’t just your life story. It’s about your why, your method, and what makes you different as a coach.

Key ingredients:

  • A strong hook or positioning line

  • A short story that builds trust

  • Clear connection to how you help

  • A CTA (call to action) at the end

3. Work With Me / Coaching Offer Page

This is where you outline your signature coaching offer(s). Whether 1:1, group, or a self-paced course, this page needs:

  • A headline that speaks to the transformation

  • Clear explanation of the value

  • FAQ section to reduce objections

  • Call-to-action (book a call, buy now, join waitlist)

4. Lead Magnet Landing Page

This is a simple but powerful Kajabi page that offers a freebie in exchange for an email address: a quiz, workbook, checklist, meditation or training.

Why it matters: You can’t build an email list or warm audience without a lead magnet page that actually converts.

5. Thank You Page

After someone signs up for your freebie, this page:

  • Confirms their opt-in

  • Builds anticipation

  • Often invites the next step (e.g. follow on Instagram, book a call)

Optional But Highly Valuable Kajabi Pages

These aren’t always essential, but they do help convert traffic more effectively and build trust over time.

6. Blog or Podcast Page

Great for coaches who want to build long-term traffic, improve SEO, and position themselves as experts.
Kajabi supports blogs (yes, even SEO-friendly ones!) with the right setup.

7. Sales Page for Each Offer

If you're launching a course, mastermind, or group program — you’ll want a dedicated, longer-form page that walks people through your process and gets them to say “yes.”

8. Testimonials / Results Page

Social proof is powerful. Whether it’s case studies, client feedback, or before-and-after stories — this page can be a quiet conversion machine.

9. Contact Page

Don’t make people work hard to get in touch. Keep it simple with:

  • A short form

  • Or a Calendly embed for discovery calls

  • Or a “Start here” link that sends people to your offer or freebie

10. 404 Page (Custom Error Page)

Small but mighty. A custom 404 page can:

  • Redirect lost visitors (particularly if you have recently moved from another platform or domain name)

  • Offer your lead magnet

  • Reinforce your brand voice

Common Mistakes Coaches Make with Kajabi Pages

🚫 Using too many pages and overwhelming visitors
🚫 Copy-pasting Kajabi templates without customization
🚫 Skipping the “why this matters” messaging on each page
🚫 Hiding offers behind vague navigation labels
🚫 Leaving out CTAs or next steps
🚫 Forgetting mobile optimisation (there’s a separate mobile editor in Kajabi)

Your Kajabi pages shouldn’t just “look nice” - they should guide visitors toward action.

What a Strategic Kajabi Site Structure Looks Like

Here's a simplified site map I often recommend for coaches:

  • Home

  • About

  • Work With Me

  • Free Resource

  • Blog or Podcast (if relevant)

  • Contact

  • Thank You page(s)

  • Sales pages (as needed)

And here’s the key: 👉 Each page has one job. Whether that’s building trust, generating leads, or converting a sale — your site should move people forward, not just give them info.
